GLand Lite is a fast, lightweight GPS area measurement app and land area calculator for fields, farms, gardens and plots. Measure land area, map distance and perimeter by marking points on a map or walking boundaries with GPS. Keep coordinates, photos and field notes organized together, then export your results in standard formats—all without creating an account.

Measure land area, lot size and distance
- Tap the map to outline a plot, check parcel boundaries or measure distances between points.
- Draw irregular polygons, freehand boundaries, circles, rectangles and triangles for any field or garden layout.
- Use the built-in land and acreage calculator to view area in acres, hectares, square feet or square meters. Thai rai, ngan and square wah are also supported.
- Review total perimeter and segment lengths for fencing, irrigation and property planning.

Walk and measure with GPS
- Add your current GPS position or automatically capture points while walking paths and polygon boundaries.
- Set the minimum distance between points and maximum acceptable GPS error for cleaner field tracks.
- Check reported GPS accuracy and available altitude information in real time.
- Automatic capture works while the measuring screen is open and the app stays in the foreground.

Work with GPS coordinates and map formats
Enter, view, copy and edit boundary points in Lat/Lng, DMS, DDM, UTM, MGRS, Plus Codes or Geohash. Adjust individual coordinates whenever you need to refine a land area or distance measurement.

Keep field records and plot notes organized
Save measurements in projects and folders. Attach photos, custom form details and multiple dated notes to each record so you can track field observations from different visits alongside the same plot.

Import, export and share GIS & report files
- Import KML, KMZ and GeoJSON files to bring existing map data and parcel outlines into your work.
- Export measurements as PDF reports, Excel (.xlsx) spreadsheets, KML, KMZ or GeoJSON files.
- Create custom map-preview images, including compass-style layouts, to share plot measurements with clients or teammates.

Try parcel outline assistance
Experimental Auto trace suggests an approximate plot outline from visible map imagery. Preview the detected boundary, then review and adjust the points before saving.

Calculate volume estimates
Draw a base area and enter a height or depth to estimate volume for soil, ponds or excavation. The calculation uses base area multiplied by your entered value; it does not automatically account for uneven terrain.

See more terrain and direction context
Check parcel directions relative to true north, explore estimated slope and contour lines, or add custom map layers for better field awareness.
