Clash of Critters

Overall, the game can be fun, but there is a lot wrong with it. A lot of the rewards are underwhelming, and the best rewards practically automatically go to people who pay to win. Paying real money always reaps the scoreboard, which is lots of the gamemodes this app has to offer. Ton of PVP. The regular "plants vs zombies" aspect of the game starts to becomes ridiculous with how your critters, despite leveled up and evolved, aren't doing damage to zombies that your critters are strong against.

Great game. Can be easily seen that developers are smart people because of how they implement certain game features/mechanics. One-tap upgrades, Pinball machine as a way to lvl up. The plant-vs-zombie main battle gameplay is nicely done, and requires occasional strategy management starting at mid-game. Overall, a great casual game. I have played the early game in an 5 hour sitting, and it was endless fun. After getting to lvl80 game does slow down, but is still enjoyable. No Ads at all.

It's a fun game. The major issue is that there is a severe drop off on playability. Around level 5-30 you are pressed to make a decision. Pay to play or quit playing. there really is no other option. There is very little free to play mechanics that push for re-playability. I could play for hours up till that point. Now it's 10ish mins before I'm out of tokens. Oh well. had fun will I could. Un-installing after this review.
