This is a great emulator, and though it's a bit odd to be handling your console controls on top of your game (landscape, not portrait, which offers a normal "game boy" experience), you totally get used to it pretty quick. It doesn't get in your way near as much as you might think when you first start using it. This emulator also has many convenient and nifty features, such as speeding up game play (makes them like pokè battles so much quicker), game shark code capability, and so much more I HAVEN'T yet played with.

SNES9x is already a top tier emulator, and this android version allows you to use it on mobile devices while having no compromises in functionality. Including support for wireless controllers and having just as much customization as the PC version, all you need to enjoy your Super Nintendo games on the go is a controller and the app. You can use it without a controller but I don't recommend it.

Some game needs the second controller in order to activate a cheat/secret (ex. Aero Fighters and A.S.P) and I dunno.. For me, switching the controller from 1 to 2 by closing and reopening/resetting the game for a few times (cause sometimes it just won't work) is weird. Too many steps. Wish the in-game emulator menus add the shortcut to switch between each controller. Apart from that.. this is a very good emulator that runs smoothly even on a very low-end and old devices.
