DualPOV: Dual Camera

DualPOV is a dual camera video recorder for Android that films the front and back camera at the same time on compatible phones. One recording saves up to 3 files – combined, back camera and front camera – in up to 1080p, in picture in picture or split screen.

Film the view and your reaction in one take, or show what you make while you talk to the camera. Everything is recorded and saved on your phone.

WHICH PHONES WORK
Recording both cameras at once needs Android 11 or later and a phone that opens front and back cameras to apps together. Google Play shows DualPOV only to phones that declare this, and the app tests your camera pair on first launch. If both lenses cannot run together, switch-camera mode changes lenses during one video and takes photos one after the other. The app labels it: this is not simultaneous capture.

Why does dual camera recording not work on my phone?
Recording both cameras at once depends on the camera hardware and on the manufacturer opening that mode to apps. DualPOV checks the camera pair on first launch and tells you the result instead of recording one camera twice.

Is a dual camera app the same as a split screen video editor?
No. DualPOV records both cameras live. It does not import, edit or combine videos you recorded earlier.
