Petal Bloom Digital Watch Face

Pink blossoms and teal leaves grow in from two corners of a black dial, with copper stems and small buds between them. A large, thin digital clock sits in the clearing in the middle, the date runs under it, the weather sits at the upper left and your steps and battery sit at the lower right.

Weather needs one permission, once. Wear OS does not grant watch faces location access by default, so the weather cannot show a reading until you allow it: Settings > Security and privacy > Permission manager > Location > Watch faces > Allow while using the app. Everything else on the face - time, date, steps and battery - works the moment you install it.

FIVE COLOR THEMES

Rose and Teal is the default. Lilac Moon, Golden Botanical and Silver Blue recolor the flowers and leaves, and Colorful Flowers paints the blossoms in several colors at once. The clock, the date and the readings stay where they are in every theme.

ONE APP SHORTCUT COMPLICATION

The face has one complication: an app shortcut just to the right of the weather. It is empty when you install the face and draws nothing, so the dial looks exactly as pictured. Choose an app in Customize and that app's own icon appears there; tap it to open the app. It shows app icons only - no text, numbers or progress rings - and you can set it back to empty at any time.

ON THE DIAL

- Hours and minutes in large thin digits, 24-hour or 12-hour. In 12-hour mode a small AM or PM sits beside the clock, and you choose the format on the face itself, whatever your phone uses
- Weekday, day and month, in your watch's language
- Weather icon and temperature, with day and night icons
- Steps and battery percentage, each with its own icon

WHEN THE SCREEN DIMS

The always-on view drops the flowers entirely. Only the time and the date stay lit, on pure black.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Needs Wear OS 5 or later. The Customize names are in English: Color theme, Time format and App shortcut. There is no companion phone app, no account, no ads and no subscription.

GETTING IT ON YOUR WRIST

Buy it on your phone, then open the Play Store on your watch, where it is waiting in your library. Press and hold your current face, swipe to the new one and tap it. Press and hold again and tap Customize to pick the color theme, the time format and the app shortcut.
