Authy has a critical, long-standing bug. When restoring encrypted tokens, the app decrypts a random number: sometimes nearly all, sometimes 75, sometimes only one. The same correct backup password is then rejected for the rest. I changed the password many times—same issue on all devices. This is totally unacceptable. These are sensitive credentials, and if you cannot reliably decrypt them, the app becomes worthless. Please address it urgently.

The app has been very reliable and useful, in particular it's ability to be used on multiple devices including a PC. Then Twillio decided it was a good idea to mess it all up with a UI "update". Not just a subtle change here and there, no, the entire thing was rebuilt from the ground up. It's a horrendous UX now, and a good example of "don't try to fix something that isn't broken". Thankfully a certain password manager now supports keeping MFA, so off I go. Thanks for all the fish!

This app worked efficiently for years until now. I'm trying to backup the app on my new device, I have done whatever is required on the old device, only for the same back up password to be rejected multiple times on the new device. You have an unlock button at the top of the page that asks for decryption, but it keeps rejecting the password saying incorrect back password. What am I supposed to do? Authy pls make it simple to manage by ourselves, there's many people having the same problem.
