Oyembra is built for the moment when the talker is too far away and the room is too loud. Put one Android phone near the person speaking and keep the other phone with your earphones. The voice arrives closer to the ear while the room stays behind it.
Use the microphone phone on the desk, near the doctor, teacher, speaker, lecturer, or family member. The placement meter shows whether speech is landing clearly or whether the phone needs to move closer or turn away from room noise.
On the listener phone, shape the voice by ear with three large controls: Warmth for body, Presence for speech weight, Crispness for edge and articulation.
Oyembra keeps a hard output limiter active so sudden loud room sounds do not spike in the earphones. A visible warning appears when Bluetooth audio is active because Bluetooth often adds too much delay for lip-reading.
Captions run on the microphone phone and travel to the listener over the same local link. The last minute of text stays visible on the listener screen so a missed sentence can be reread during the conversation.
Oyembra is a closer microphone for live conversation. It does not record audio, does not keep caption history after the session, and does not claim to test, diagnose, or treat hearing.
Put one phone near the talker and keep the voice close.
