Peonies, cherry blossom and seigaiha waves in indigo and gold, drawn in the manner of traditional Kyoto brocade ā the silk brocade woven for formal kimono. A polished minute track runs to the very edge of the glass.

An open window at the centre reveals five gears that turn together, each meshing with its neighbour and running the opposite way, the way a mechanical movement does. Larger wheels turn more slowly than smaller ones.
ā TWO ASSIGNABLE SUB-DIALS
The left and lower wells can each show the information you choose ā steps, battery, heart rate, weather or anything else your watch provides. Steps and battery are set by default.
š DATE APERTURE
A recessed window on the right shows the day of the week, the date and the month.
