Dual Time Watch Face: Split

Dual time watch face for people who live in one time zone and work, call or think in another. The big hands show the time where you are. A small inset dial at six shows home, and a sun or moon inside it tells you whether it is day or night there.

What time is it here?
Gold hour and minute hands with a thin slate seconds hand, on a dial split diagonally into two halves: warm cream for day, deep navy for night. Slim batons mark the hours, with a small amber sun above 12 and a crescent moon on the night side.

What time is it at home?
The inset has its own hour and minute hands and its own day and night halves. A small label above it shows the difference you chose, for example HOME −6H. From 6:00 to 17:59 home time a sun appears in the inset, the rest of the day a moon.

How do I set the second time zone?
Open the watch face editor and pick the difference between home and local time, from −11 to +12 hours. The inset adds that difference to your watch's local time. It is a fixed number of hours, not a city, so this dual time zone watch face needs a quick update in the editor when you fly to another zone or when daylight saving time changes in only one of the two places. Whole hours only; half-hour zones such as India or Newfoundland are not covered.

Always-on
The split dial fades to a dark outline and the seconds hand switches off. Both sets of hands stay, so local and home time remain readable on a dim screen.
