À propos de l'application
A fridge tracker that remembers expiry dates so you stop throwing out food you meant to eat.
Most food gets thrown out for one boring reason. Somebody bought it, put it in the fridge, and forgot it was there.
Chiku is a small dog detective whose entire job is remembering for you.
HOW IT WORKS
"I eat everything so you don't have to!!!" Okay, Chiku, who let you type. Here is how it actually works, by humans:
Name a thing. Pick the day it turns. That is the setup, and it takes about ten seconds. Chiku keeps the list, sorts it soonest first, and once a day at a sensible hour he whispers if something is coming up. Tap what you ate. Tap what you had to let go. No score, no streak, no lecture.
Groceries, leftovers, cooked food, the jar at the back of the pantry, the things you take every day. Fridge, freezer, pantry, counter. If it has a date, Chiku will hold it.
HE LEARNS YOUR NUMBERS, NOT HIS OWN
Chiku never guesses how long food lasts, and he never tells you whether something is safe to eat. He is a calendar, not a food scientist. Your eyes and your nose make that call, always. What he does is remember YOUR answer: give spinach five days once, and the next time spinach comes home the five days are already filled in.
DINNER FROM WHAT NEEDS EATING
When a few things come due together, Chiku suggests one dinner that uses them, drawn from home kitchens around the world.
FRIDGE DOOR MODE
Prop your phone on the counter for one big calm screen: what is worth eating tonight, and nothing else.
A WEEKLY PAGE
A warm note about the week. What got eaten, what got away, no percentages and no scolding.
BUILT FOR EYES THAT ARE TIRED
Large type, high contrast, generous buttons, and a calm mode that stops every animation. No tiny grey print anywhere.
FREE FOREVER
Unlimited items, all the reminders, the full history, the weekly page, fridge door mode, and every storage field note. No ads. Ever. No account, no email, no password. Everything stays on your phone. There is no server holding your groceries.
THE DETECTIVE'S KIT (optional)
Tonight's case, which turns several nearly-due things into one dinner. Case notes, with global ideas for rescuing anything before its date. The daily round, for the things you take every day. The household, for whose leftover is this and who got to it in time. And photos, so you can snap a label or add your dish to the rescue card.
One payment and it is yours for good, or subscribe monthly or yearly if you would rather. Either way it unlocks the same kit, and it is built by a nonprofit.
MADE BY REWEAVE
Reweave is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building tools that make everyday life a little kinder and a little more fun. Chiku is ad-free because your attention belongs to you.
The monthly and annual plans are auto renewing subscriptions billed through Google Play. Each renews at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can cancel any time in Google Play subscription settings. The lifetime kit is one payment, never a subscription.

Nouveautés
chiku got better at the quiet parts.
- paying for the detective's kit now finishes properly, including slow payment methods that confirm after you close the app. if you paid and did not get your kit, it lands now.
- the log is rebuilt: a date on every rescue, grouped by month, three honest numbers instead of one score.
- "later today" is a new whisper time, for food cooked at lunch.
- the reminder screens match the rest of the app.
- steadier under the status and gesture bars on newer phones.
