Word Shift is a fresh word puzzle game and a calm brain game with a simple twist: there is nothing to type. Slide columns of letters up and down until a word lines up in the highlighted row. Find a word and its tiles light up with color. Make words, color the whole board and beat the level!
HOW TO PLAY
• Drag any column of letters up or down.
• Words read from left to right in the highlighted row.
• Any real word of the right length counts, not just the hidden ones, so many levels have more than one solution.
• Keep making words from letters until every tile on the board is colored.
FEATURES
• 357 word puzzles in 18 themed packs, from easy 4-letter words to tricky 8-letter ones.
• A random pack is drawn for you each time, so every new pack is a surprise.
• Smart hints: the light bulb doesn't give the answer away, it marks the right letter and lets you finish the word.
• A dictionary of thousands of common English words.
• No timer and no rush. Play at your own pace, even for five minutes on the go.
• Leaderboard and achievements for the words you collect.
• Calm music and satisfying sounds, both easy to switch off.
LEVEL PACKS
Start, Fives, Ropes, Quartet, Salad, Alphabet, Butterflies, Dark Forest, Rectangles, Cocktail, Letter, Dough, Roses, Ladder, Hardcore, Sunshine, Windows and Six. Each pack has its own idea: symmetric boards, one letter in every word, and in Hardcore the longest and hardest words of all.
