Bridge Hybrid Watch Face

Bridge is built like an instrument panel. A brushed-steel bar runs across the middle of the dial and joins two round gauges: battery on the left, steps on the right. Broad ivory hands turn over a black plate, a thin red seconds hand sweeps past the markers, and the same time sits below in heavy digital figures.

ON THE DIAL

- Analog hours, minutes and a red seconds hand
- A large digital time under the hands, 24-hour or 12-hour with AM/PM
- The weekday and date at the top, in your watch's language
- Left gauge: this watch's battery, as a ring and a percentage
- Right gauge: your steps toward a fixed 10,000-step scale, as a ring and a percentage
- Heart rate and the temperature in a line under the time
- Two app shortcut complications just under the date

TWO APP SHORTCUT COMPLICATIONS

Press and hold the dial and tap Customize. The two small round spots under the date are complications for app shortcuts: give each one an app, and a single tap on the dial opens it. They show the app's icon and nothing else - no text, no numbers. Until you pick an app, Wear OS may show a small plus there. Leave one empty and it draws nothing at all.

The battery, steps, heart rate and temperature readings are part of the dial, not complications, so they cannot be swapped for other data.

WEATHER

Weather needs one permission, once. Wear OS does not grant watch faces location access by default, so the temperature shows -- C until you allow it: Settings > Security and privacy > Permission manager > Location > Watch faces > Allow while using the app. Everything else on the face - time, date, battery, steps and heart rate - works the moment you install it. The temperature follows your watch's Celsius or Fahrenheit setting.

YOUR CHOICES IN CUSTOMIZE

- Color theme: Lime, Ice, Amber, Red or Violet. The color runs through both gauges and the marks around the edge.
- Time format: 24 hour, or 12 hour with a small AM or PM just above the digital time.

ALWAYS-ON

The always-on screen turns off the steel plate, the seconds hand and the shortcuts. Dimmed hands, twelve small dots, two thin rings with the battery and step figures, the date and the digital time stay on black.

GOOD TO KNOW

The Customize labels are in English in every language. There is no phone app, no account, no ads and no subscription.

Buy it on your phone, then open the Play Store on your watch, where it is waiting in your library. Press and hold your current face, swipe to Bridge and tap it.
