Grinning Pumpkin Watch Face

An animated Halloween watch face for Wear OS: a giant carved jack-o'-lantern glows on the feast table of a haunted castle hall, and the pumpkin itself is the analog clock. Candles float in the dark above it and candelabras burn along the walls. Your steps, battery and notifications glow right in its carved eyes and grin.

KEY FEATURES
• Eleven small triangles are carved round the face at the hours, the stem stands at twelve, and two blackened, twisted vines are the hands.
• The left eye shows your steps, the right eye your battery and the grin your unread notifications, in dark stencil letters on the glow. The date is cut through its forehead.
• At each new minute the candle inside gutters: every opening dims and flares back.
• On the hour the lid hops, fire blazes out of the open top and a flock of bats bursts out over the hall, then the lid drops back with a puff of smoke.
• Tap the forehead and tongues of fire lick up out of the eyes and grin.

MAKE IT YOURS
• Fire: candle gold, witch green, ghost blue or ember red; the light it throws takes the same color.
• Blaze on waking: fire also flares in the eyes each time your watch wakes (off by default).
• Three complications: steps, unread notifications and battery by default; choose other data for any of them in the watch face editor.

ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY
Only the carved face glows faintly, with the date, your steps, your battery and the hands, to save power.

MADE FOR HALLOWEEN
• On October 31, from 6 pm to 6 am, the bats come out every quarter hour.
• From midnight to one the fire burns witch-green.
• It all switches on by itself on the night: no setup needed.

COMPATIBILITY
Works on Wear OS 6 or later, such as Galaxy Watch models updated to One UI 8 Watch and Pixel Watch. Made in Watch Face Format: no permissions, no data collected.
