About this app
Watch movies and TV shows, and step inside the story behind them.
LightPlay is a new way to watch movies, TV shows, K-dramas, Chinese dramas and documentaries. Open the app and step straight into a show's 3D world, see what happened behind the scenes, and let Lumi, your AI watch buddy, help you decide what to watch.
ON & OFF SCREEN
• Featured shows each have their own On & off screen: behind-the-scenes stories, key moments with the lines that made them, and, for many, a 3D world to explore
• Get a feel for the story before you press play, even if you've never seen it
• After each episode, save the moment that got you
• Moment recaps are summarized by AI, and the app labels them
BEHIND THE SCENES ON HOME
• Did you know: a different fact about a show every time you open the app
• Rows for Behind the scenes, Where the cast are now and What they did next
• Tap any card to open that show's On & off screen, right at that story
• Dramas with a story, all in one place
MEET LUMI, YOUR AI WATCH BUDDY
• Lumi is a calm little capybara powered by AI
• Chat with Lumi and get help finding what to watch tonight
• Visit Lumi's cozy den in the You tab
WATCH MORE OF WHAT YOU LOVE
• Search movies, TV shows, K-dramas, Chinese dramas, short dramas, animation, documentaries and more
• See every episode on one page, and save your favorites
• Sign in with Google to keep your favorites and history on any phone, or skip it and start watching
• Turn on notifications if you like, to hear about new shows and stories
Spend less time searching and more time watching the stories you love.

I am giving this 2 stars because, while the app has a great design, it is unfortunately not functioning properly. The settings menu does not work, and I receive errors when trying to load any content. Specifically, YouTube VR and 360 videos fail to play entirely. Additionally, the app crashes immediately whenever I try to open the browser or other platform options. I really want to use this app, but these issues make it impossible right now. I hope the developers address these bugs in a updates

To be very honest app is not working. nothing in the app is working. my device is google pixel 8pro with Android version 17 and when I open it ,it opens but I can't play anything on it. if I try to play any video it stucks on cinema screen and tell you that there is some kind of error. if you try to open browser of app, it closes directly and tells you app is not responding.

Awesome set up, if it worked it'd be exactly what I'm looking for but when attempting to watch any videos it simply says failed to load ads or connect to streaming. Figured more permissions would help, but to no avail.
