Understand the result before removal
Check which app was detected and why it may be a risk. Review the finding before uninstalling it. Android may ask for confirmation or require you to switch off device administrator access first. For spyware removal, act on the identified app and scan again afterwards to check the result.

Tests and validation
In January 2024, AV-TEST tested Anti Spyware 6.0: 99.8% real-time protection against Android malware attacks and 100% detection of widespread Android malware.
Protectstar reports DEKRA MASA L1 validation (Verified Self) of version 6.7.5 dated 20 February 2026. It assessed selected OWASP MASVS app-security requirements, not detection rates.

Privacy without advertising trackers

Good to know
