I've played this game for a few months now and still find out new mechanics I didn't know before, just because they didn't get introduced properly (ex: searching for resources on expeditions, fighting the monsters in dragonrace, chat with clan members). I'm f2p and gotta say the game gets really frustrating at times, hence why I stop playing here and there. I don't mind the storage - got used to it and just hope for better trades. But lv up buildings? Basically impossible without a decent clan.

Dear player, the game provides instructions for each game mechanic. A description of the dragon race and all its aspects is available in the race window by clicking on the icon labeled "?". A chat with a clan opens to you immediately after joining it, and all the mechanics of the island are explained to you during your first expeditions.

I like the game very much. Really addictive. But the fact that you have to upgrade every building in order to use it is extremely annoying. You can't just go ahead and produce the things you need. Nooooo. For some reason the game makers thought it would be funny to torture us. And those drawings you need for upgrading the buildings, they don't grow on trees. So from level one to twenty it goes fast. But after that you're just gonna stuck.

Literally tedious, you complete tasks to get more stuff then they want you to complete more tasks to get the stuff you just worked hard to get, then before you can use it guess what.......yep you got it! they want you to use a ridiculous amount of gems and other bits that would take you about.....15 months to collect ( unless you spend about 100 bucks a month ) not worth it, so many better games out there exactly the same less grind and better value for money, the good reviews are concerning.

Getting there does take real resource planning, but that's strategy, not a paywall — purchases stay entirely optional the whole way through, not a requirement to progress
