Jack-o'-Lantern Clock Face

An animated Halloween watch face for Wear OS: a huge carved jack-o'-lantern hangs from a wrought-iron bracket above the door of an old, haunted cottage, and it is the analog clock. Its candle flickers, dead ivy creeps over the stones and small pumpkins wait on the doorstep for trick-or-treaters.

KEY FEATURES
• A ring of twelve carved stars marks the hours, the star of the current hour burns brighter, and two forged-iron hands turn on the rivet in its nose.
• The lantern's light shines through carved numerals onto the oak door below, showing the time; the hour follows your watch's 12- or 24-hour setting. By default you get lantern and door at once.
• Your steps and the date are chalked on the slate beside the door, your unread notifications are on the brass letter slot, and your battery is on the plate under the bell pull.
• Each minute the flame gutters and the lantern sways a little on its hook, its hands swaying with it.
• On the hour the lantern swings and slowly settles, its light blazes, and bats burst from under the eaves.
• Tap the lantern and its flame roars up, sparks spilling from its eyes. Tap the door and the letter slot lifts as two ember eyes peer out.

MAKE IT YOURS
• Time: lantern and door, lantern only, or glowing door only.
• Flame: candle gold, ghost green, spirit blue or blood red, for the lantern, its light on the wall and the numerals.
• Flare on waking: the flame roars up each time your watch wakes (off by default).
• Three complications: steps, unread notifications and battery by default; choose other data for any of them in the watch face editor.

ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY
The cottage goes dark; only the lantern's faint glow, its hands or the numerals, the date, your steps and your battery stay lit, to save power.

MADE FOR HALLOWEEN
• On October 31, from 6 pm to 6 am, bats fly every quarter hour.
• From midnight to one the flame burns ghost-green.
• It all switches on by itself on the night: no setup needed.

Works on Wear OS 6 or later, such as Galaxy Watch models updated to One UI 8 Watch and Pixel Watch. Made in Watch Face Format: no permissions, no data collected.

HOW TO INSTALL
1. Install it from Google Play on your watch, or tap Install on my watch in the phone app.
2. Touch and hold your watch face, swipe to The Jack-o'-Lantern and tap it. To customize, touch and hold it, then tap Customize.
