APP is ok - although do have difficulty getting the app to take a reading. I'm also concerned about data usage and storage. I would prefer independent 3rd party options of processing and storage. The app requires location access but I can see no valid reason for this? It also requires personal information like birthday and other medical related information incl. Smoker status, height, etc. but the app does not indicate whether that info is used by the algorithm assessing your EKG.

The application requires location permissions because in order for any app to search for new bluetooth devices to pair with, Android requires that location permissions be turned on. This is something that is specific to Android, so we are working with in a requirement and limitation of the Android platform.

It's hard to get the sensors to read correctly most times. In my case it doesn't seem to read arrhythmia's. It's only good for telling me if I have a tachycardia, which is easy enough to figure out on your own. Basically, not a good buy for me, especially since you have to pay a subscription fee to get relevant information.

Have had a new email with Alive Cor and they have been super helpful and sent me a replacement unit after the old one had issues staying connected to my phone. Dealing with Gloria Gonzalez has been suoer helpful. THIS IS MY PREVIOUS POST Keeps logging me out everytime I try to use it removed app reinstalled same thing. Not is useless and whe it does record it starts stops and restarts sometimes does a particial reading then says unreadable and is not asking to connect often.
