I love this game for the most part. But I HATE that I must go thru the tutorial for the pirate tournament every time it starts again (every week or two?). Why can't that window be closed, or have an escape button, or something? Otherwise, it would be a 5 star game. Update: I'm uninstalling this app. I can't deal with the tutorial repeats every time!! Update 2: Tried it again. Still can't avoid pirate tuts, and now ads are 1 minute, up from 30 sec. Uninstalling again.

FRUSTRATINGLY REPETITIVE and ENERGY EXPENSIVE The "New events" are repetitive; the game won't let you close the introduction tutorial to go straight to the main game which is frustrating for regular players. CHANGE IT so that players can skip the event tutorial. The programmers also need to play 'Family Island' to get some tips on energy and energy bonus' 'Family Island' rewards players with 'half energy bonus' which makes the game more enjoyable, worthwhile and an incentive to play that game.

Not sure how this thing got 4.4 rating with all those "give us money" pop-ups, not enough energy to do anything and with repetitive tasks. Upgrading higher level buildings on the main island is getting worse with a ridiculous amount of materials and items needed. Events only exist to make people spend more money. But then again, good luck getting it with those pop-ups, which are nothing but annoying. ;) Upd: 3 years later, nothing has changed xD
