This video player does everything that I want including saving the position. I give it only 3 stars because the free version does full screen ads which are hard to get out of. I would have paid anyway to remove all ads. But they need to make the full screen ads easier to get out of. I had to force quit to get out of the ads. So the way some ads are shown is worth removing 2 stars. Once I paid for the app, all is good.

great full function player. only wish? cant rename a file. i can live with it. lots of taps and slides that shortcut volume or brightness or whatever. Havent figured it all out yet. its not editors choice for nothing . Edit: and here I am 6yrs later. installed on yet another new device. I've had probably a dozen devices and I always come back to this player. Usually the fastest downloader too. And, In playback, it has manual latency for audio sync. Perfect, no delay audio.

XPlayer is a very good video player software. However, I am sorry to say that for some time now, there has been an issue with this software. When I play a single video from a folder containing multiple videos, the software automatically plays all the other videos in that folder one after another. This happens even though I have turned off the "Auto play next" option in the video settings. I also brought this issue to your attention in January 2026, but unfortunately, this bug has not been fixe
