Mock Location: GPS Simulator

Test Android location behavior without ads getting in the way.

I built this app because I was tired of mock location apps full of ads. Mock Location: GPS Simulator keeps the focus on choosing a test location and controlling your session.

CHOOSE A PLACE
• Tap the map, search for a place or address, or enter latitude and longitude.
• Return to up to 20 recent places, with city, state/region and country labels when available.
• See the exact coordinates alongside place names. Name lookups never change your selected point.
• Save frequent locations in five named bookmark slots. Long-press the map to add a bookmark.

CONTROL YOUR TEST
• Hold a fixed position or simulate steady movement in a chosen direction.
• Use walking, running, cycling and driving presets, or enter a custom speed.
• Switch between mph and km/h.
• Choose a compass direction or enter an exact bearing.
• Start, pause, resume and stop from clear session controls.
• Keep a test running in the background with a visible notification and Stop control.

YOUR CHOICES STAY SIMPLE
No ads, subscriptions, accounts, advertising ID or first-party analytics. Bookmarks, recent places and preferences are stored on your device. Remove individual recent places, clear the list, or turn history off.

Map resources and address search require internet. With history enabled, selected coordinates may be sent to Photon to look up recent-place names; opening history can also look up missing names. Names depend on nearby map data and may be unavailable. Turning history off stops new recent-place lookups. See the privacy policy for map, search and location processing details.

ANDROID SETUP REQUIRED
Enable Developer options, open “Select mock location app” and choose “Mock Location: Fake GPS” (the installed app label). Return to the app, select a point and tap Start. No root is required.

Built for Android app development, QA, demonstrations and authorized testing. Android marks generated locations as mock. Other apps may detect or reject them or use other location signals. This app does not conceal mock status or bypass security, fraud or eligibility checks.

Use only on devices and services you are authorized to test. Do not use it to deceive others, falsify work or attendance, evade restrictions, or affect emergency, navigation or safety-critical services.
