C-Orbit

C-Orbit Player Count is the companion app for the "C-Orbit" watch face: [Link to the watch face's store listing]

The app runs invisibly in the background and provides the following as a complication to the watch face:

• The current player count on Steam
• A scale from 500 to 3,000 with the limits on the left and right of the ring
• The history of the last 24 hours as a sparkline

HOW IT WORKS

• The public player count is retrieved via the Steam Web API at most every 10 minutes – saving battery and data
• The 24-hour history is stored only locally on your watch and is automatically deleted

• A fixed scale from 500 to 3,000 players, which only increases if a value from the last 24 hours falls below or exceeds this range

• Without an internet connection, the last value is displayed

SETUP
First install this app, then the "C-Orbit" watch face. The watch face will connect automatically. Alternatively: Press and hold the watch face → Edit → Select the "C-Orbit Player Count (Steam)" complication.

The app does not have its own app icon in the app menu – this is intentional.
