The promotion code didn't work. I got the promotion code for newsletter subscription while using the app. I couldn't eventually use it as the box never appeared. I tried it several times, and the price went up (my ticket had the price condition). I still couldn't use the promotion code. No box at all. Moreover, the price went up when I got redirected to their app from Google flights. I think it's not fair.

This app may have certain advantages, but I had an experience where I lost 180 Euros within 30 minutes of installing the App. Why? Because I had used the app on 21 January 2024, intending to book a flight for the next day. The Kiwi app automatically suggested next available dates in February 2024. So I accidentally booked a flight for the wrong month. Within a few minutes of booking the flight, I'd noticed, but a change was not possible. The Kiwi app appears to monetize on customer typos.

Dear Pieter Perrett, thank you for your review. The flights are always booked according to the data provided, and any cancellation has to be done as per the fare type included in the reservation. We have sent you an email explaining this situation. Please check this email in your further communication with us. Best regards, Kiwi Apps Team.

Customer support is unresponsive and uninvested into checking anything beyond their system. I requested cancellation days before the flight, but the flight was still registered as "no show". Customer support provides AI generated answers and promises to involve a live person, but then the live agent just answers "we created a cancellation request to a flight vendor, there's nothing we can do" and closes the case. It has been going on for more than 2 months.
