Cannot recommend this game. The story mode is exactly that - text upon text with little to no gameplay. Tried multiple times to do an Unranked battle, and got timed out every time. No one's playing at the Beginner level, and I don't gain anything from battling the computer - especially not when I set the encounter, thus knowing what I'd be facing. The general consensus I've seen from long standing fans is that this game has fallen from what it was. Honestly, don't bother; I wasted my time.

Getting rewards takes a long time. Building a fun/good deck takes longer. Rates are terrible, and compared to the previous iteration, it seems to have become very costly and money heavy. Don't waste money on this. The animations and art may seem nice, but this whole app screams greed compared to what Shadowverse once was. Remember, spend responsibly.

It's really hard to get into this game as a new player without spending money at this point. I barely got a fifth of the way to make one deck in the first week despite receiving free packs for each set, and the free starter decks are extremely bad. Ontop of that, after wasting all my vials on gold cards to make a functional place-holder deck, there are apparently not enough new players to play ranked against, so the matchmaking times out 9/10 times no matter what time it is.
