SICHA

SICHA is a one-on-one sabre duel game in pixel art, set in the age of the Cossacks.

Attack high, mid or low, hold a guard and parry at the last moment to strike back. A balance meter punishes endless blocking, so you have to read your opponent instead of hiding behind your sabre.

Fight as the hetmans and colonels of the Zaporozhian Host: Sahaidachnyi, Sirko, Khmelnytskyi, Bohun, Mazepa. Or take the side of the kings, hetmans and winged hussars of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, with Ottoman sultans and Crimean commanders among your rivals. Every hero wears his own hand-drawn costumes.

Chain cuts, guards and steps into named combos such as the Hopak, the Whirlwind and the Sich Dance, each ending in its own finishing move.

The shashka, shamshir, yataghan and chichuga strike differently: quicker in one zone, heavier in another, a longer reach or a harder blow to the balance. Turn every sabre in your hands in the armoury.

A campaign of eight duels from recruit to hetman. Win combos, sabres and new heroes for free on the way. The last rival is the crown's own hetman.
