About this app

WatchSky shows the sky as it looks right now. The background moves through night, twilight, golden hour and daylight as the sun rises and sets, and the sun and moon travel along an arc across the dial.

🌍 Pick your latitude in the settings and the face works out sunrise and sunset for every day of the year, so summer evenings stay light longer, and winter ones get dark early.

☀️ Sky colors that follow the sun’s height, with a warmer sun near the horizon
✨ Stars that come out after dusk and turn slowly through the night
🌙 Live moon phase, or a fixed phase of your choice
🌦️ Optional weather tint and icon
🔋 A slim bar under the time for seconds, minutes or battery
📅 A complication at the bottom (your next calendar event by default), or two curved ones on Wear OS 7
🎨 Optional date, border shadow and dark ground
⌚ A simpler always-on display

Tap the time for alarms, or the date for your calendar.

FAQ

Which watches does it work on?
Wear OS 5.1 and newer, including Galaxy Watch and Pixel Watch.

I installed it, where is it?
Long-press your current watch face, tap “Add watch face” and pick WatchSky. If Play doesn’t offer it on your watch, open the phone app and tap “Install on watch”.

Sunrise looks a bit off from my local time.
The face assumes the sun is highest at noon. Depending on where you are in your time zone, that can be up to half an hour off, or more near the edge of a zone.
