Sonora is a sound studio for sleep, study and calm, made in Switzerland by an acoustic scientist. Over 130 real field recordings, ten animated soundscapes, and instruments you play yourself: a brainwave painter, a ten-band white noise machine, singing crystals, a timeline composer. Everything you hear was captured with professional soundfield microphones and mastered to studio standards, not looped from a stock library.

SLEEP
Mix your own night from rain on a window, rain in a forest, rain on a tent, thunder, ocean waves, a quiet beach, a campfire, a fireplace, crickets, wind, a stream, a waterfall and more. Set each sound to its own volume and save unlimited mixes. The sleep timer fades everything out once you are asleep, adaptive noise masking rises gently toward morning to soften the sounds that wake you, and a bedtime reminder brings back last night's mix with one tap. The morning recap shows what you listened to and how long, with a star in your sky for every night.

FOCUS AND STUDY
A calm focus timer runs Pomodoro sessions while your mix keeps playing, with controls on the lock screen. Paint beta beats for concentration, shape the white noise machine to cover the office, or put on a mountain temple at full width on your tablet. Students, remote workers and anyone in a loud room use it to make the work hours quiet.

BRAINWAVE PAINTER
Draw on a flowing canvas and it makes sound: the dye you paint is the tone you hear, its intensity the volume. Choose delta for sleep, theta and alpha for meditation and creativity, beta for focus, as binaural beats or isochronic tones. Save a painting as a custom sound and it joins your library like any recording. Use headphones for binaural beats.

ANIMATED SOUNDSCAPES
Ten hand-animated scenes where every element you see is a sound you can turn up or down: Stormy Night, Moonlit Cove, Winter Night Hideout, Mountain Temple, Viking Adventure, Embers of the Deep, Stellar Drift, Windy Fields, Mystical Cave Well, Ancient Kitchen. Phones and tablets, portrait and landscape.

MY ROOM
A cosy room you furnish yourself. Every item you place brings its own sound: a fireplace, rain at the window, a record player, a fan, a purring cat. Arrange it once and come home to it every evening. A sloth is included.

SOUND LAB
White noise machine: shape the noise across ten frequency bands, from deep rumble to soft hiss, with white, pink and brown noise and presets for sleep, focus and massage, or your own profile for tinnitus masking.
Singing crystals: eight crystals in a dark chamber, an instrument meant to be played slowly. Record a sequence and let it pace your breathing.
Spectral match: see the frequency spectrum of your mix and find presets, community mixes and new combinations that share its character.
Sound journey: a timeline composer. Lay your sounds as clips with fades, build a mix that changes over the night or the work session, save it and share it.
