Repolupe

Repolupe turns any git repository into a knowledge base you can talk to. Ask questions in plain language and get answers that link back to the documents they came from. Your documents stay in your repositories, on your servers, under your control.

ANSWERS YOU CAN TRACE BACK
The assistant searches and reads your files to answer your questions, and shows you the documents it used. Ask "What is my tax ID?" or "When does my car insurance renew?" and see exactly which document the answer came from.

You decide whether the assistant only answers, or also keeps your knowledge base up to date: for each repository, and for each person you share it with.

- Read only: the assistant answers your questions but never changes your files. Share repositories with others without worrying.
- Write: drop a document into the chat or just tell it what's new. The assistant finds the right place, writes it down and proposes a commit. Review every change before it is applied, or let it apply automatically.

A single Repolupe instance connects your git servers to the AI providers of your choice and serves the web, Android and iOS apps. With a minimal setup, it needs only about 20 MB of RAM and runs happily on the smallest VPS.

GETTING STARTED
This app connects to your own Repolupe server. Repolupe is free and open source under the Apache License 2.0, with no license fees and no seat limits. Start the container, log in, add an AI provider and your first repository, then connect this app to your server.
